Our cartridge filters' proven design uses special stainless filter elements to strip particles from pool water with great effectiveness. Maintenance? Over time, dirt accumulates in the spaces on stainless filter. Particles’ causing the pressure in the vessel to rise as water finds it harder to pass through. This signals you to Spin-Down or “knock out” the dirt. Open the drain valve for 1 min. then close the valve. What could be simpler? No D.E. No Sand or any cartridges for that matter.

Water flows very efficiently through Clean and Clear in our “5 micron stainless steel filtration System” : allowing the use of smaller pumps or lower pump speeds to minimize energy use. And when consumers rinse cartridges or changing them frequently, rather than just opening a valve to knock off the dirt fully, they can significantly reduce water use, too.

BGWPP “Essential 88” Sediment Trapper Filters make solid particle removal simple and economical. The benefit of the Spin-Down filter is its ability to be cleaned and reused. The BGWPP “Essential 88” Sediment Trapper Filter has the unique tornado (spin-down action) effect created by the patented process is unique.

BGWPP “Essential 88” Sediment Trapper utilize centrifugal force to separate the sediment from the water. The BGWPP “Essential 88” Sediment Trapper element is a specialized version of the spin down or knock down sediment filter designed to allow debris to settle in the bottom, thereby "trapping" sediment away from the screen. The valve at the bottom allows for the easy manual discharge of the sediment. During the operation of the filter, the sediment accumulation can easily be seen through the clear housing. The BGWPP “Essential 88” Sediment Trapper differs from the standard spin down filter in that it offers additional sediment reservoir capacity. The BGWPP “Essential 88” Sediment Trapper is recommended for applications where an abundance of sediment is expected.
